A gift of cash immediately goes to work to support the delivery of affordable dental health care to the people of Maine. State reimbursement and individuals’ payment on the household income based Sliding Fee Scale does not cover the full cost to operate and staff the Dental Health Centers or community programs.

Recent donations have: purchased dental equipment for the new Dental Center in Lewiston, Maine; provided funding for free dental care for 48 adults without means; supported the delivery of affordable care for people living in York County; provided free dental care for uninsured school children in central Maine.

Dental Equipment and Supplies
Community Dental welcomes donations of serviceable, well maintained dental equipment in good working order based on current needs and requirements. All equipment will be evaluated by Patterson Dental’s technicians to determine tax deductible value and appropriateness to our needs at the time.
